                       So always choose a niche you are comfortable at where you can share your thoughts freely and it will help you to build a good relationship with visitors. The topic that you are most interested in will be the best pick.You will be more eager to blog, your content will be filled with passion. That will contribute to more writing and you will love to write about that subject.

As I've worked with several customers throughout the years, I've been amazed at how frequently site structure is neglected. From one perspective, it's a most important parts of SEO services, but a couple of webmasters and few website owners recognize the structure that improves SEO.

As I have learned SEO  deeply, I am going to share why we need site structure. Let's see why -

1) A decent website structure gives your site Sitelinks

Sitelinks are intended to help user for user-friendly experience and easy to navigate your site on Google.

Search Engine study the link structure of your site to discover alternate or shortcuts method ways, that will save the user time. So Search Engine can discover quick information for users, what they're looking for. So site links appear on Google if you have good link structure and site structure.

SEO is always changing its algorithm for better searching and information. At the moment, Sitelinks are automated, you can't add any particular link for site links, there are no such methods. But if you can improve link and site structure, then the website will show site links if they want to show for relevant keywords.

2) Domain Authority

Now Domain authority is for better ranking and your website may come on the first page of google search engine. But you have to work hard for improving domain authority. 

Domain Authority is not complicated as you think. It's a just ranking of websites, that they will appear on search engine according to ranking, authority, structure, and links.

 Develop your website in hierarchy

Now you have seen the title that "how to start a blog in a proper fashion". What do I mean in proper fashion? Your website should make in well manner hierarchy method. In case you're beginning a site from scratch, you're in an extraordinary position to arrange out site structure for an ideal SEO.

You can do hierarchy plan for the website in whiteboard, sketch or in a word processor or excel.

I'm doing simplify the whole process of SEO friendly site structure.

This is my own system that makes site structuring simple to understand. 

Create Pillar Pages

This is the most effective way to set up authority niche site. It makes your blog simpler and gives you systemization so you have a path to follow rather than throwing random blog post on your site. Rather than targeting unwanted keywords.

When you choose some niche for the blog so you have to choose categories first. Categories are the base of the site. 

For example, Sports have hockey, football, volleyball this types of categories. 

So categories are the main part of your site. Pillar pages or post come into "categories" of your site. Pillar pages are the base of your blog. We have to build a base first. Then after we will go towards subpages.

We have to target biggest keywords in pillar pages. Biggest keywords mean common keywords for that niche. So in each category, we are going to make our pillar post. Biggest keywords in blogging are "blogging tips", "blogger", "earn money online" and many others. You can check Google Keyword Planner for that.

We just want to write 2 or 3 pillar post in the specific category.

Create Sub Pages

Subpages are nothing but the inner pages of that particular category. The inner pages are made from targeted keywords. They also have to target long-tail keywords. A specific blog post or subpages need only targeted keywords. This will increase your bounce rate from organic search. And people will come again to your site.

Your all subpages wants to inter-connect with that pillar pages. Specific category's subpages need to links that pillar page. You can see in the diagram - all subpages are connected to pillar pages.

That means you have to put all subpages links to your pillar pages. Pillar post is the base structure of your site.

See example below:

The menu, Location, Special food and about pages are pillar pages of "David Restaurant" site.

"Oyster food" is sub pages from "Menu" pillar pages. So we want to put our all subpages links to menu category and in the pillar post from "Menu" category. It's quite simpler. Don't make it complicated.

Menu and other categories want 2 pillar post. That pillar post wants to links other subpages of your site.

Build an Internal Linking Structure throughout your Entire Site

The homepage is the gateway to your site. It will be the headquarter that contains all the links to your different pages.

Therefore, you need to link all different pages to the homepage. Spread the link juice to all over.

Have you seen why Wikipedia is the top website of the world. Wikipedia uses these strategies very effectively. One page of Wikipedia links to another page in that specific category.

See SEO page from Wikipedia. This is the subcategories of Category "Internet marketing". You can add sub categories also if you needed for your site. 

In the last section of pages, they have "See Also". This is called linking. They have proper links connected to all other sub pages. It gives people more option to stick around the site. It will build your site authority and structure.

You can do this like Wikipedia style. They have an effective style of linking and presentation of content to show viewers.

                  Many peoples will quit this business of blogging. Because they are not updating their articles. And so it's difficult to generate traffic to websites. Believe me, Blogging is good for business if you are passionate about it.
