Generate and Submit Sitemap to Google

What is a Sitemap?

An XML Sitemap is a way for webmasters, so lets the search engine know about all the pages of your website they are available for crawling on Search Engine

Sitemap has two purposes one for the user and two for the Search Engine.

Including 80 pages it may have been on detected in the regular crawling process. Not only one external sitemap outline all the pages on a Website, you can also let the search Engine frequency, you want to update certain pages.

A sitemap is a crawling priority of each individual page.

You should submit your external sitemap to all major search engines

It's important that your sitemap is up to date and doesn't include any 302 redirects or 404 error pages.

How to Generate Sitemap?

Default XML sitemap file of any Blogger blog will have only the 26 most recent blog posts.That’s a limitation because some of your older blog web pages that are missing in the default XML sitemap file may never get indexed in Google Search Engines. There’s, however, a simple solution to repair this trouble.

For Bloggers

STEP 1:  Go to Sitemap Generator website.

STEP 2:  Put your full website address (Example: http://www.cytab.in/).

Then Click on Generate Sitemap.

STEP 3: Copy code from the user agent to all below. Then Go to your blogger account. In blogger Go to Settings > Search Preferences > Custom robot.txt - Paste in the text field of custom robot.txt. Then Click save changes.

Submit Sitemap to Google

submit your website to Google Search Engine. After submitting your website to Google you have to submit XML sitemap of the website to the Google Webmaster to search all pages of your website on Search Engine.

This is not only for bloggers, This is for all website developers.

STEP 1:  Go to Google Webmaster Tools, Sign up there. Choose your website.

Step 2:  Now you have to in Crawl option > In crawl there is Sitemaps > In Sitemaps click on ADD/ TEST SITEMAP.

You have to paste there this code /atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500.

STEP 3: Click Submit after paste code and its Done. It’s very easy and effective.

Now your all pages and links will appear on Google Search Engine.
